Failed Tokens
Temporary inactivity does not confiscate survival allocations.
Code exists; Stayers production behavior is not yet verified.
Not every token will remain active. The accounting system distinguishes temporary health failures from an explicit documented failed-token review.
Different conditions, different records
An inactive market may lack recent activity. A token can fail a current milestone check or enter a dormant lifecycle state without being declared permanently failed.
The implemented lifecycle records include ACTIVE, MILESTONE_PENDING, ELIGIBLE, DEPLOYED, INELIGIBLE_TEMPORARY, DORMANT and FAILED_PENDING_REVIEW. A falling price or a scheduled evaluation alone does not justify permanent failure.
Explicit review
An authorized administrator can sign a documented action to mark a token FAILED_PENDING_REVIEW. This stops new deployment eligibility and withdraws active discovery promotion. It preserves receipts, allocations and previous events.
A separate authorized action can reclassify eligible undeployed funds into SURVIVAL_FAILED_TOKEN_RESERVE. Temporary failures never trigger that reassignment automatically.
Custody remains operator-managed
For V1, those balances may remain in the shared Stayers collection wallet, still attributed to their token and asset. They are neither platform profit nor independently protected on-chain custody.
Any future disposition needs a governing policy and approval. No automatic treasury sweep is implemented.
Future $STAYER concept
A platform token and possible buyback/burn use of eligible reserves are future concepts only. No $STAYER mint, buyback, burn, yield or promised appreciation is operational. Failed-token funds must not be represented as automatically available for those purposes.
