Why Stayers Exists

Designing for what happens after the first trade.

Code exists; Stayers production behavior is not yet verified.

Launch tools make it possible to create a market quickly. Sustaining that market is a different challenge. Attention changes, early participants leave, and the initial launch becomes less relevant to a token's current condition.

Stayers is designed to add publicly understandable checkpoints throughout that lifecycle.

The design problem

A launch transaction says little about whether a market will remain active. Trading volume alone can be misleading, and wallet counts do not establish a community of distinct people. A transparent system needs to show what it actually measures and when those measurements are incomplete.

Stayers therefore separates market creation, informational health, discovery eligibility and financial authorization.

The proposed response

Eligible DBC fees can be attributed to the originating token through a durable survival ledger. Experimental milestones can make established tokens discoverable again. A later, separately approved liquidity process could use eligible allocations to increase market depth.

The accounting and evaluation code exists. That does not establish that the complete mechanism operates on mainnet.

What success would mean

The intended outcome is a market with more opportunities for informed discovery after launch, accompanied by records of fees, custody, decisions and supported on-chain commitments.

Stayers does not claim to eliminate rug pulls, guarantee demand or prevent losses. These limits remain central to our philosophy.
